I read from conclusion to the abtract then go to the details.

I don't really sure this is the good technique or not.
It's the technique that I use to read researches.
I start with skim or scan reading the conclusion and the read another details begin with abstract, introduction, methods, results, and discussion/conclusion.
After that read it again by focus in each details.

I think I read by skim and scan. At first time I have to read so fast but after that I have to read for the content and carefully to gain the information.

You have to read the purpose and the abstract first.
So you will know what this research is about.
It is like the summary of the research so you don't have to read the whole research.
