Idioms for cheering people up?
Thu Mar 15, 2018 1:24 pm
Here are a few idioms you could use to cheer your friends up:
Hang in there! (to encourage him to not get discouraged)
Just keep plugging away (to encourage him to keep working hard)
There's light at the end of the tunnel (to remind that he'll test – and hopefully pass – relatively soon
Break a leg! (to encourage him to do well on his exam)

I like this idiom "Don't be afraid to make mistake. Be afraid of not learning from them." And I think everyone will get power from this idiom.

I cannot think of any idioms to cheer the others up.
What I like to do is to say " You can do it!" or
"believe in yourself".
I think these two words are so helpful for those who need encouragement.

“ Nothing is impossible to a willing heart. “ The meaning is easy to understand so I don’t need to explain it to you. I have kept this idom in my deep of mind for 2 months. And if I have a chance to cheer people up, I will tell them this idom.
