Firstly,I choose to open the Thai-song "Pa-wa-sak-son" because I feel same in lyrics of this song.After that I will spend time with my friends and go to make a merit.
I think time can heal a broken heart but time can't delete all your memories.Let it go is the best way.

Go outside. Don't be alone and listen to a sad song. Think positively.
For me, making merit cannot heal it.
I used to make merit hoping it can heal me, but it cannot.
When I was in a temple, I felt comfortable. But... when I went back to my room, I still felt the same.
Actually, it depends on your mind.

Letting yourself be surrounded by friends or people who you can really talk to really practically works.
I do not think you should listen to those sad songs because they may keep you in the sad atmosphere for good.
Why don't you try getting your friends out to Karaoke place and sing all the songs you like out loud instead of listening to all the sad song and crying silently alone haha.
This is just my suggestion. But, you will truly need love, support, and understanding from ones who are willing to give you at that point.

I mean it may be hard and difficult for someone but to deal with a broken heart, I'll just listen to your favorite songs, watch your favorite movies or just hang out with friends. Try not to think about whatever will bring you down. Life is too short to keep holding things which make yourself unhappy.

For me, time heals everything. We just have to spend time with ourselves thinking about what actually happened between us and our boy/girlfriend, why it turned out like that, why it didn't work out between us, who's wrong and right. Just think critically. I believe that we can't really forget what we want to forget. Therefore, the only way to deal with it is to remember it in a critical way. Remember it as our teacher and don't that happen again in the future....
